When are AM and PM used in telling time?

 Explanation of the use of
“AM and PM” to denote time

When any people telling
time in English, AM and PM are used to denote noon or late night. Many times,
many people confuse to denote time in English with speaking or writing. There
are also many times, many people do not know the exact meaning of these
letters, which are abbreviated to denote time in English. It is more likely to
get mistake.

PM is used after the
time to denote 12 noon and AM is used after 12 midnight. That is to say AM from
midnight  12:00 to next day11:59 and use
PM from Noon 12:00 to Night 11:59 PM on that day.

AM stands for 'anti
meridian' and PM stands for 'post meridian'. But many know the
misinterpretation of these two words in short. They know AM as 'after midnight'
and PM as 'post midday'.

Anti means before and
post means after. And the word meridium comes from the Latin word 'meridis'.
Which means middle day or midday. That means anti meridian is before midday and
post meridian is after midday.
