Japan have a Kerala village
Nagoya is one of the biggest cities in Japan and Inuyama is
located only 30 minutes away from Nagoya. There is a village in Kerala in this
Inuyama. A bit surprising but actually it is in a museum. The name of this
museum is 'The Little World Museum of Man'. The specialty of this museum is to
highlight the culture of different countries. A total of 22 symbolic villages
of the country have been displayed in the museum so far. This museum was built
in 1970. Various materials were brought from those 22 countries to build the
symbolic villages. One of them is the village of Kerala.
As soon as you go to that village, the first thing you will see
is the traditional two-storied house with a tiled roof. There is a tea shop and
a pond next to it. The house is made of bricks. Named Chanakath House. The
house has a long terrace. There is an open courtyard to the front, a separate
kitchen and a bedroom. The interior of the house is also decorated keeping
Kerala in mind. And all the necessary things for that have been brought here
directly from Kerala. Of course, if you want, you can also enjoy Kerala food in
the museum. That system is also there.
